County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered
into this the twenty first day of January in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six, between
James J. Mixson, Charles J. Mixson & Mary Mixson his
wife, John G. Polhill and and Susan M. Polhill his wife
parties of the first part & Christopher C. Atkinson, party 
of the second part; Witnesseth, That the said parties of the
first part, for and in consideration of the sum of
Seventy five dollars to them in hand paid, by the
party of the second part at the time of executing this
indenture, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
said parties of the first part, hath bargained sold, granted
& conveyed and doth hereby bargain, grant sell and
convey unto the said party of the second part, and to
his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever, all that
certain lot or parcel of land situate in the Village of
Micanopy, known and described as follows, to wit
Commencing at a stake fifty feet from the North
East corner of a lot of land purchase by the parties of 
the first part from John S. Livingston and running thence
west from the public square sixty one feet ten inches, and
thence at right angles south fifty feet, and thence parallel
with the first line East sixty feet, ten inches to the public
square, and thence along said square to the place of beginning
Together with all and singular the right,privilege, improvements &
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
to the said party of the second part, and his heirs and assigns
forever. To Have and to hold to their only proper use and behoof
The parties of the first part hereby covenanting for themselves
their heirs, executors and administrators that this title is free
from all incumbrances, and that they will and their heirs, ex
ecutors and administrators shall warrant and defend the
same to the said party of the second part against the
claims of all persons whatsoever, Nevertheless this convey
ance is expressly made subject by the parties of the first
part, and accepted by the party of the second part to
the following conditions, to wit: The above granted
premises, and every part and parcel thereof in perpetuity
forever, and all future conveyances hereafter to be
made shall be subject to the same: That is to say
That no Whiskey Shop or other place for retailing Spirituous
