                   Before the subscriber a Justice
of the peace in and for said County personally
came Henry Bradford, one of the subscribing witnesses
to the foregoing instrument of writing who being duly
sworn says that he saw Charles L. Wilson, sign
seal and deliver the same for the purposes therein
mentioned and that he signed the same as a witness

This Indenture made this sixth day of February eighteen
hundred and fifty six between Geo B. Ellis Sheriff of the Coun
-ty of Alachua in the State of Florida of the one part and
John G. Rawls of the County and State aforesaid of the
other part Witnesseth that whereas Chaffee St. Amand &
Craft sued out of the Clerks office of the Alachua Circuit
Court a writ of fieri facias against the estate of Gabriel
S. Sanchez & Co for the sum of Seven hundred & seventy
eight dollars 11/100 cts Also four Dollars & sixty cts costs
bearing date the fourteenth day of May eighteen hundred and
fifty five with interest thereon from the fourteenth day
of eighteen hundred fifty five returnable when satisfied
which fifa was directed and delivered to the Sheriff
by virtue of, fifa of aforesaid levied the same on a
certain piece of land as the estate of Simeon J. Sanchez
and he failling for the payment of said debt interest and
cost the said Sheriff in pursuance of said writ and ac-
cording to the law of said State having legally advertised
and made known the same bid on the fourth day of
February A.D. 1856 at Newnansville in the County
aforesaid expose to sale by public auction the afore
said tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances
and all the estate right title claim and demand
