This indenture made the 30th day of October in the year of
          our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty four
          between William W. Scott merchant of the Town of Newnansville
          in the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the
          first part and John G. Rawls of Alachua County aforesaid
          of the second part Witnesseseth, that the said party of the
          first part for and and in consideration of the sum of Two
          thousand one hundred and two dollars and eighty
          eight cents lawful money of the United States of America
          to me in hand paid by the said party of the second part
          at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
          the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
          bargained sold delivered remised released conveyed and
          confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
                            convey and
          alien remise release^confirm unto the said party
          of the second part and to his heirs and assigns
          forever  All that certain piece or parcel of land
          situate lying and being in the County of Alachua
          and State of Florida known and designated as the
          South east quarter of the North West quarter of Section
          thirty four and the south west quarter of the north
          east quarter of section section thirty four and the north west
          quarter of the North East quarter of Section thirty four
          and the North west quarter of the north west quarter
          of section thirty four and the north east quarter
                                           thirty four 
          of the North west quarter of section^and the South
          west quarter of section thirty four all of Township
          eight South of Range eighteen East in the District
          of land subject to Sale at Newnansville Florida
          amounting in the aggregate to three hundred and
          fifty acres and eight hundredths of a acre
          Together with all and singular the tenements her-
          editaments thereunto belonging or in any wise apper-
          taining and the reversion and reversions remainder
          and remainders rents issues and proffits thereof
          And also all the estate right title interest prop-
          erty possession claim and demand and whatsoever
          as well in law as in equity of the said party of
          the first part of in or to the above described, prem-
          ises and every part and parcel thereof with the 
          appurtenances, To have and to hold all and sin-
          gular the above mentioned and described premises
          together with the appentenances unto the said party
          of the second part his heirs and assigns forever
          and the said party of the first part for himself
          his heirs the said premises in the quiet and peaceable
          possession of the said party of the second part his
          heirs and assigns and against the said party of the first 
          part his heirs and against all and every person and
          persons whom soever lawfully claiming or to claim shall
          and will warrant and by these presents forever defend
