County of Alachua } Know all men that Daniel D.V.
Strobel of the County and State aforesaid for and in
consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to him
paid by Philip Dell of the aforesaid County and State
the said Philip Dell being trustee of the lands tenements 
goods & chattels of Amos L. Dell also of the County and
State aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
doth hereby grant bargain sell and convey to the said
Philip Dell trustee as aforesaid the following tract
of land known and described by U.S. Surveys as the
East half of south west quarter and the north west quarter
of the south east quarter of section No twenty two (22) in
Township No seven (7) south of Range No Eighteen (18) 
East containing one hundred and twenty acres made
by as per returns made by the U.S. surveys to the land
office at Newnansville Florida together with all the privi-
leges and appurtenances to the same belonging To have
and to hold the same to the said Philip Dell trustee
as aforesaid his assigns and successors in said office
as trustee as aforesaid forever, The grantor hereby cov-
enanting with the grantee his assigns and successors as
aforesaid that the title so conveyed is clear free and 
unincumbered and that he will warrant and forever defend
the same against all claims whatsoever
In witness whereof the said Daniel D.V. Strobel hath hereunto
set his hand and seal this fifteenth day of January in the
year Eighteen hundred and fifty six.

County of Alachua } Be it remembered that on this the 15th 
day of January in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty six
before me Robt Youngblood Justice of the Peace in and
for said County personally appeared Susan C. Strobel
wife of the above named Daniel D.V. Strobel and having
been privately and separately examined by me she says
that she does freely voluntarily and without any com-
pulsion on the part of her said husband without any
dread or fear of any person whomsoever renounce
release and forever relinquish unto the above named
Philip Dell trustee as aforesaid his assigns and
successors all her interest and estate and all her
right and claim of Dower to all and singular the
premises above described
