bidding more the said tract or parcel of land and
          appertenance was in due manner openly struck
          off and sold to the said George L. Brown for the
          said sum of fifty six dollars.
          Thienfore to confirm the said purchase to the said
          George L. Brown as aforesald made this Indenture
          Witnesseth, That the said George B. Ellis Sheriff of the 
          County aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum
          of sixty dollars to him in hand paid by the said
          George L. Brown the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
          edged hath given, granted Bargained sold released con-
          veyed and confirmed and by these presents doth give
          grant bargain sell release convey and confirm unto the said
          George L Brown his heirs and assigns forever all that
          parcel of land situated in the town of Newnansville
          lots five and six of Block No three and Range No three
          with the appurtenances to the same belong or in any wise
          appertaining with all the estate right title interest prop-
          erty claim and demand of the said Edward R. Power
          in and to the above described into and over the same
          and every part and parcel thereof, To have and to
          hold all and singular the above granted premises
          with the appurtenances unto the said George L. Brown
          his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use
          benefit and behoof forever in as full and ample
          a manner as I the said George B. Ellis Sheriff as
          aforesaid by virtue of the authority aforesaid might
          or ought to convey the same
          In testimony whereof I the said George B. Ellis Sheriff
          as aforesaid have hereunto set my hand and seal

          Before me Lemuel Wilson Clerk, of the Circuit Court
          of Alachua County of the Eastern Circuit of Florida
          personaly appeared on this the 29th day of Feby 1856
          George B. Ellis to me well known and acknowledged 
          that he executed the foregoing deed for the purposes
          therein mentioned, Witness my hand and official
