Alachua County } To wit Know all men by these presents
That we John F. McIntosh Geo W. Means & Benj W. Powell
are held and firmly bound unto the Governor of the State
of Florida or his successors in office in the full sum
of Five Thousand dollars for the payment of which well
and truly to be made we do hereby bind ourselves our
heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally
firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and
dated this 21st day of January AD 1856.
The condition of the above obligation is such That when
as the above bound John F. McIntosh was on the 11th day
of February AD 1856 duly appointed Auctioneer for the County
of Alachua in said state. Now if the said John F. Mc-
Intosh shall well and truly perform all duties of
said office as prescribed by the law then this obligation
to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue

Know all men by these presents that I Henry
G. Marquand of the city county and state of New York fo-
divers good causes and considerations thereunto moving
especially for six hundred and forty dollars received
to my full satisfaction of Edward Haile have remised
and released and forever quit claimed and by these
presents do forever myself and my heirs executors
and administrators justly and absolutely, remise
release and forever quit claim unto the said Edward
Haile and to his heirs and assigns forever all such
right and title as I the said Henry G. Marquand
have or ought to have in or to all that lot piece
or parcel of land known as Section Number twenty
nine (29) in Town Ten (10) in Range Nineteen (19) in
the county of Alachua and State of Florida contain-
ing Six hundred and forty acres (640) be the same
more or less the said lot being a part of the
Arredondo grant which was divided at a partition
sale in February 1849 To have and to hold the above
released premises unto him the said Edward Haile and to
his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use
and behoof forever so that neither I the said |
