This Indenture made the 28th day of November One Thousand
eight hundred and fifty four between Henry G. Mar-
quand of the city county and state of New York of the
first part and Thomas E. Haile of Alachua County
in the state of Florida Witnesseth that the said party
of the first part in consideration of the sum of
Six hundred and forty dollars duly paid to him
before the delivery thereof have bargained and sold
and do by these present sell grant and convey
to the said Thomas E. Haile the party of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever all that lot
piece or section of land situated in the county
of Alachua and State of Florida and known as
Section Nineteen (19) in Township Ten (10) in Range
Nineteen (19) containing Six hundred and forty (640)
acres more or less said land being a part of the
Arredondo grant with the appurtenances and all
the estate title and interest of the party of the
first part therein and the said party of the first
part hereby covenants and agrees with the party
of the second part that he will warrant and
defend the above granted premises in the quiet
possession of the said party of the second part and
to his heirs forever and that at the day and date
above named they are free and clear of all en-
cumbrances whatsoever
In Witness whereof the party of the first part has
herewith set his hand and seal the day and date
first above named in the town of Micanopy in the
State of Florida.
