Alachua County   } Personally appeared before the sub-
scriber a Justice of the Peace in and for Alachua Con
Mrs M.M. Dudley to me well known to be the person
who executed the foregoing relinquishment of Dower and
she being by me examined separate and apart from her
husband acknowledged and declared that she had ex-
ecuted the same freely and voluntarily upon her part
and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband.
Witness my hand and seal this 3rd (third) day of
November in the year eighteen hundred and fifty five

This Indenture made the twenty fourth of December
in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty five
between W.P. Hooker and E.L. King of Alachua County
E. Fla of the second part Witnesseth that the said party
of the first part in consideration of the sum of eighteen
hundred dollars to him duly paid before the delivery
hereof have bargained and sold and by these presents
doth grant and convey to the said party of the second 
part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain
tract or parcel of land situate in the County of
Alachua and State of Florida being part and par
cel of the Arredondo Grant so called and known
and described as section number 7 Township No
10 Range No 22 containing Five hundred and fifty
five acres more or less with the appurtenances
and all the estate title and interest of the said
party of the first part therein and the said party
of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree
with the said party of the second part that at the
time of the delivery hereof the said party of the first
part is the lawful owner of the premises above
granted and seized thereof in fee simple absolute
and that he will warrant and defend the above granted
premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever.
