Know all men by these presents that we Isaac J.
Carter and Sarah Ann Carter his wife of Alachua
County State of Florida for and in consideration of the
sum of two hundred dollars to me in hand paid
by Samuel B. Thompson of Duval County State
aforesaid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained & sold and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and deliver unto the said
S.B. Thompson a certain piece or parcel of land lying
and being situate in Alachua County aforesaid and
described as follows viz South West quarter of the
North East quarter of Section No eleven (11) in Township
No eight (8) south and Range No Nineteen (19) East being
a lot purchased from the U. States by G.L. Sanchez con-
taining about forty one acres of land the same more
or less. To have and to hold the same unto the said
S.B. Thompson and to his heirs and assigns together
with all the hereditaments and appurtenances there-
unto belonging or in anywise appertaining and I the
said Isaac J. Carter for myself my heirs executors
and administrators do hereby covenant & agree to and
with the said Saml B. Thompson his heirs & assigns
that I am now the owner of the said premises that
I am seized of a good and indefeasible estate of inher-
itance therein and have full power and right to sell
the same in fee simple absolute. And that I the said
Isaac J. Carter will by these presents warrant and de-
fend the said premises unto the said S.B. Thompson
and to his heirs and assigns forever against all &
every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming
the same. In witness whereof we have here unto set our hand
& seals this fifteenth day of Feby 1856 in the year of our Lord
