                 Know ye that on this seventeenth
day of August AD 1855 before me Henry Pinckney Walker
a Commissioner duly commissioned and qualified by the
executive authority and under the laws of the said State of
Florida to take in the State of South Carolina the
acknowledgement etc to be used or recorded in the said
State of Florida personally appeared at Charleston in the said
State of South Carolina William R. Ryan known to me to be
the person so named in the annexed deed and acknowledged
that he had signed sealed and delivered the same on the day
and year therein mentioned to and for the intent and
purposes therein expressed, In witness whereof I have cause
caused the said William R. Ryan hereto to sign his name
and also affix my hand and
official seal at Charleston        Wm R. Ryan
aforesaid on the day and year

             Be it also known that on this seventeenth day of
August AD 1855 before me Henry Pinkney Walker a Commis-
sioner duly commissioned and qualified by the executive
authority and under the laws of the State of Florida to
take in the State of South Carolina the acknowledgment of
deeds etc to be used or recorded in the said State of Florida
personally appeared at Charleston in the said State of South
Carolina Martha A. the wife of William R. Ryan who has
signed sealed and delivered the annexed deed and being privately
examined by me whether the relinquishment or renunciation
of dower endorsed upon the said deed was made freely
and voluntarily and without any constraint compulsion
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband answers
and says that she did and does acknowledge the same to
have been freely and voluntarily made and without any
compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her
said husband. In witness whereof I have caused the
said Martha A. Ryan hereto to sign her name
and also affix my hand and 
official seal at Charleston aforesaid     Martha A. Ryan
