Alachua County   } Personally appeared before me Andrew
Robb an acting Justice of the Peace in and for said
County Josiah Seckinger and C.R. Seckinger his wife the
signers of the within instrument of writing who say
that it was executed for the purposes therein stated
and on the part of the wife after being questioned
separate and apart from her husband that it was
signed by her voluntarily without coercion or the fear
of it on her part. In witness whereof I have here-
unto put my hand and affixed my seal this the
eighteenth day of December one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five.

   Florida     } This Indenture made on this the six-
teenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and
fifty four between James B. Bailey & Mary N. Bailey
his wife on the first part and Tilman Ingram Esqr
on the second part, Witnesseth, For and in consideration
of Eight hundred and eighty dollars ($880) to me in
hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
we of the first part have this day bargained and sold
and by these presents do bargain and sell to Tilman
Ingram Esqr of the second part the following tract or
parcel of land, To Wit, Beginning at the SE corner of sec-
tion five (5) Township Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) Arredondo
Grant running west along said section line Ten chains
to a stake, thence North 5° West, Twenty six Chains and
twenty five links to the south boundary of the Town of
Gainesville, Thence North 85 1/2° East along the said boun-
dary to the south East corner of said Town of Gainesville,
Twenty one chains, thence East Twenty seven chains to the
middle of the run of a branch thence down the middle
of the run of said branch to the point where it is crossed
by the south boundary line of Section Four (4) Township
Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) Thence South 85 1/2° west, along
said section line to the original point of beginning contain-
ing one hundred and thirty six (136) acres more or less
