County of Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that
        I John Pond of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
        for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars
        to me in hand paid have granted bargained sold and 
        by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
        James M. Sparkman of the aforesaid County and State
        all that certain lot or parcel of land situated in the
        Arredondo Grant in the County of Alachua and State of
        Florida and described as follows, To wit, Section No
        seven Township No Nine Range No Twenty one contain-
        ing six hundred and twenty three acres and forty-
        nine hundredths of an acre with all the appurtenances
        and all rights title interest claim and demands
        of in or to the premises To have and to hold the same 
        with the appurtenances unto the said James M. Sparkman
        and his heirs in fee simple forever and I the said
        John Ponds for my self and my heirs do hereby cov-
        -enant and agree to and with the said James M. Sparkman
        and his heirs and assigns that I am now the owner of the
        said premises and am seized of a good and indefeasible
        estate of inheritance therein and that I have full
                                                    fee
        right and power to sell and convey the same in^simple
        absolute that the said premises are free and clear from
        all incumbrances that the said James M. Sparkman
        his heirs and assigns may forever hereafter have hold
        possess and enjoy the same without any suit moles-
        -tation or interruption by any person whatsoever law-
        fully claiming any right therein and that I the said
        John Ponds and all persons hereafter at the request and
        expense of the said James M. Sparkman his heirs or
        assigns shall make all such further assurances for the
        more effectual conveying of the said premises with
        the appurtenances as may reasonably required of him
        or them and that I the said John Ponds my heirs
        will warrant and defend the said premises with the
        appurtenances unto the said James M. Sparkman and
        his heirs and assigns forever.
