Sparkman and I do hereby acknowledge that the said relin-
-quishment renunciation of dower is made freely and
voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint ap-
prehension or fear of or from the within named John Ponds
my said husband. Taken and acknowledged by the

This Indenture made and entered into this the fifth day
of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and fifty five between Wade H. Sparkman
and his wife Susan Sparkman of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the first part and James
M. Sparkman of the said County and State of the second
part, Witness, That the said parties of the first part
in consideration of Five Thousand Three hundred and
ninety one dollars and sixty six cents to then in hand
paid by the said James M. Sparkman the receipt whereof
they do hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained
sold released and confirmed and by these presents doth
grant bargain release sell and confirm unto the
said James M. Sparkman and to his heirs and assigns
forever all that certain tract or parcel of land known
and described on the Arredondo tract or grant as sec-
-tion No Eight and Section seventeen in Township No Nine
in Range No Twenty one containing twelve hundred
and eighty acres and forty one hundredths of an acre
together with all and singular the hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions remain-
der and remainders issues profits thereof and every
part and parcel thereof and also all the estate right
title interest trust property claim and demands what
soever both at law and in equity of the said parties of
the first part unto or out of the said lands tenements
