County of Alachua } I Wiley Hicks a Justice of the Peace
in and for the County and State aforesaid do hereby cer-
-tify that Susan Sparkman wife of the said Wade H.
Sparkman being by me examined separate and apart
from her said husband do acknowledge that the fore-
going indenture was signed by her for the purpose of
relinquishing her dower and right of dower in and to
the premises therein conveyed to James M. Sparkman
and that the said renunciation and relinquishment of
dower was made freely and voluntarily without any
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her
said husband and in evidence thereof did in my
presence sign and seal the foregoing acknowledge-
ments. In witness whereof I have unto set my
hand and official signature this the fifth day of
January AD 1855

This Indenture made the first day of December in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and 
fifty two between George M. Payne George R. Fairbanks
and William A. Forward Commissioners appointed by
the Circuit Court of the Eastern Circuit of Florida sit-
ting as a Court of Chancery by orders or decrees made and
entered at the City of St Augustine in and for the County
of St Johns in a certain cause in partition depending
in said Court wherein John H. Brush and others are
complainants and Moses E. Levy and others are defend
ants of the first part and John N. Ormand of the
second part Witnesseth That whereas at a sale of
