the said party of the second part that they are seized
in fee of the aforegranted premises that they are free
from all encumbrances subject however to the consid-
eration above expressed and that they will and their
heirs executors & administrators shall warrant and
defend the same unto the said party of the second
part his heirs & assigns forever against the lawful
claims and demands of all persons, In testimony

George B. Payne & Catharine his wife who acknowledged
that they executed the foregoing deed of Indenture
for the purposes therein set forth. Witness my hand

This Indenture made this fourth day of February in
the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred
and fifty six between George B. Ellis Sheriff of the
County of Alachua in the state of Florida of the one
part and John B. Standly of the county and state afore-
said of the other part Witnesseth, that whereas Philip Dell
exc* and other plaintiffs in execution and out of the
clerks office of the Alachua circuit court writs of fien facias
against Edward R. Poser for the sum of One thousand
seven hundred and eighty dollars and 75/100 with interest
thereon from the tenth day of December Eighteen hundred
and fifty five also thirty five dollars for cost bearing
date the tenth day of December Eighteen hundred and fifty
five returnable when satisfied which fifa was diverted and
delivered to the sheriff of said county and the said
sheriff by virtue of the fifas of aforesaid levied the
same on a certain piece or parcel of land as the Estate
of Edward R. Power and he failing for the payment
of said debt interest and cost the said sheriff in pur-
suance of said writs and according to the law of said
having legally advertised and made Known the same
did on the fourth day of February eighteen hundred
