and fifty six at Newnansville in the county aforesaid
expose to sale by public auction the aforesaid tract
of land with the appurtenances and all the estate right
title claim and demand whatsoever of him the said E.
R. Power in to and over the same and whereas the said
John B. Standly did then and there bid the sum of Two
hundred and sixty five dollars and no person bidding
more the said tract or parcel of land and appurtenances
as was due manner openly struck off and sold to
the said Jno.B. Standly for the said sum of Two hun-
dred and sixty five dollars. Therefore to confirm the
said purchase to the said Jno.B. Standly so as afore-
said made this Indenture Witnesseth, That the said
Geo.B. Ellis Sheriff of the county aforesaid for and in 
consideration of the sum of Two hundred and sixty
five dollars to him in hand paid by the said
John B. Standly the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath given granted bargained sold released
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
does give grant bargain sell release convey and confirm
unto the said Jno.B. Standly his heirs and
assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land
situated in the town of Newnansville county aforesaid
Known on the plat of the said Town which plat is
on file in the office of the Judge of Probate as
part of lots seven (7) and eight (8) block No.
four (4) Range Northward to wit commencing at
the South West corner of said block running
East one hundred and thirty feet North one hundred
and fourteen feet West Ninety feet thence
South twenty feet thence west forty feet thence
South Ninety four feet to the place of beginning;
with the appurtenances to the same belonging or in
any wise appertaining, with all the estate right
title interest property claim and demand of the
said E.R. Power into and over the same and every part
and parcel thereof To have and to hold all and
singular the above granted and bargained premises
appurtenances to the said Jno B. Standly his heirs and
assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the
said Jno B. Standly his heirs and assigns forever in
as full and ample a manner as I the said Geo
B. Ellis by virtue of the authority aforesaid might
or ought to convey the same.
