Levy County } Know all men by these presents that
I George A. Hines of the County and State aforesaid
for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen hun-
-dred dollars to me in hand paid at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents by Bryant
Smith of the County and State aforesaid have granted
bargained sold aliened and conveyed and do by these
presents grant bargain sell alien and convey unto
the said Bryant Smith and to his heirs and assigns
a certain tract or parcel of land lying and situate
in the County of Alachua and State aforesaid and
known as the S1/2 of Lot No(8) Sec(2) and S1/2 of Lot No(5) Sec(1)
and S1/2 of Lot No(4) in Sec 12 & E1/2 of NE1/4 Sec(11) Tp(8) S Range 19
East together with all the appurtenances rights titles and
interest thereunto belonging to the said Bryant Smith
and his heirs forever in fee simple.
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land
together with all and singular the rights members
and appurtenances to his or their own proper use
benefit and behoof forever. And the said George
A. Hines for himself and his heirs doth covenant
grant and agree to and with the said James H.
Smith the title to the said bargained premises to defend
against the lawful claim or claims of all persons
whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal this the 21st
day of March AD 1856.

ents that I Levenia Hines the wife of George A. Hines
whose name appears to the foregoing deed of conveyance
for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars to
me in hand paid and in further consideration of
the premises in said deed recited do hereby release
relinquish and forever quit claim all my right of
dower in and to the land by said deed conveyed
