Know all men by these Geo R. Fairbanks of the County of St
Johns, and State of Florida do hereby acknowledge to have received
full payment and satisfaction of a certain mortgage and Bond execut
=ted by Amaziah N. Hall, and his wife Harriet M. Hall, and Washington
W. Gieger, and Sarah E. Gieger his wife, bearing date on the 7th day of
February A.D. 1853 to secure the sum of twenty two hundred dollars
and interest from 9th Oct 1851, and covering section six of Township
twelve, and Range twenty one of the Arredondo Grant, and I do hereby
release said premises from said mortgage, absolutely, and unconditionally

  Know all men by these presents that I Harriet M. Hall
Administatrix of of Amaziah N. Hall, deceased, do hereby nominate
constitute, and appoint, Washington W. Gieger of Alachua County
in the State of Florida, my true and lawful attorney, to act for me
and in my name, place and Stead in all and every matter and thing
connected with the administration of the Estate of the said A.N. Hall
Deceased, and fully empower him the said W.W. Gieger, to transact
all and every the business of the said Estate in my name, place and
Stead, as such administratrix, and to affix my signature to all papers
instruments in writing notice, acquittances, releases, compromises vouchers
accounts or discharges and in every possible way to fully represent
me, and because the said Washington W. Geiger hath become my surety upon
my adminstra administration bond and hath hitherto acted as my counsel
and adviser relative thereto, and whereas I have applied to the Court
of Probate of Alachua County Florida, to be relieved and discharged
of and from the administration of the Estate of said Amaziah N. Hall
Deceased, I do therefore make this power of Attorney irrevocable unto
the said Washington W. Geiger, and do hereby declare and covenant to and
with the said Washington W. Gieger, that I will not executed any other power
of attorney in favor any other person or persons, so long as I remain such
Administratrix, and that I will not without written advice of and assent
of the said Washington W. Geiger, sign or execute any instrument, paper
or conveyance relative to said Estate, or in any way without with
the said written assent of said Gieger, transact any business of, or
relative to said estate whatever, it being understood fully that
I desire so soon as the laws and statutes will permit, to surrender
all control of said estate, and to be discharged of my said administratrion
