This Indenture made the fifth day of March in
the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty six
between Francis Perkins of New York City County and
State administrator of the estate of Cyrus Perkins of
the first part and Henry G. Marquand of the same
city aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth, That
the said party of the first part in consideration of the
sum of Two thousand one hundred dollars to him
duly paid before the delivery hereof hath bargained
and sold and by these presents doth grant and
convey to the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever all those two sections lots or
parcels of land situate lying and being in the Counties
of Alachua and Marion in the State of Florida
and known as follows, The Section number Seventeen
(17) in Township Number nine (9) in Range Nineteen
(19) in Alachua County containing six hundred and
thirty nine (639) and twenty eight hundredth of an acre
Also the section number fifteen (15) in Township Twelve
(12) in Range Twenty one (21) containing six hundred
and forty (640) acres be the same more or less sit-
uated in Marion County the two sections above de-
scribed being a part of the Arredondo Grant and
are the same which were bid off to the said Cyrus
Perkins at a partition sale of the said Arredondo
Grant held in Micanopy in February 1849, with the
appurtenances and all the estate title and interest
of the said party of the first part therein And
the said party of the first part doth hereby cove-
-nant and agree with the said party of the second
part that at the time of the time of the delivery
hereof the said party of the first part as admin-
-istrator is the lawful owner of the premises
above granted and seized thereof in fee simple
absolute and that he will warrant and defend
