may live, and confirming to her out of the estate of
her intended husband the said Giles U. Ellis
certain gifts grants and benefits for her use and
comfort and assistance as long as she shall re-
main his widow and all of which are relinquished
given and granted in full satisfaction and his
charge of all and every right and title the dower
which she the said Nancy Townsend might have in
claim to the estate real or personal of the said
Giles U. Ellis in the event of surviving her intended
husband and which in every way in accordance
with her free will and instructions as well as in con-
sideration of said intended marriage the said Nancy
L. Townsend hath renounced released and relinquished
and by these presents doth renounce release relinquish
and forever quit claim with her intended husband
the said Giles U. Ellis his heirs executors or adminis-
trators all the dower and therein rights and title of
dower and third and all and ever claim and
demand whatsoever in Law and Equity which she
the said Nancy Townsend her heirs executors or ad-
ministrators upon this consummation of said intended
marriage and in the event of surviving her intended
husband the said Giles U. Ellis might have in to or out
of the estate real or personal of the said Giles U. Ellis
that she the said Nancy L. Townsend her heirs executors
or administrators or any other person or persons
for her them or any of them shall not have claim
chalenge or demand or pretend to have claim Chalenge
or demand any dower or thirds or any other right
title claim or demand whatsoever of in and to the
estate of the said Giles U. Ellis real or personal but shall
be utterly barred and excluded for and by these presents,
And the said Giles U. Ellis in view of said contingences
for him self his heirs executors and administrators cov-
enates and agrees with the said Nancy Townsend her heirs
executors or administrators in consideration of the
premises the said gifts grants relinquishments and
agreements to on his part given granted relinquished
and agreed to warrant protect confirm and observe
And the said Nancy L. Townsend her heirs executor
or administrator covenant promise and agree to and
with the said Giles U. Ellis his heirs executors or ad-
ministrators testified by her executing these presents to
observe protect carry out access to and confirm
the agreement to acceptance and relinquishments on her
part above agreed accepted and relinquished and
covenants and agree to receive the provisions
made to and with her and for his use and benefit
in this deed of indenture and Settlement by her
intended husband the said Giles U. Ellis in lien of
her whole dower in to or out of the estate of the
said Giles U. Ellis either real or personal and of
