This indenture made the thirtieth day of December
A.D. 1854, Between Charles L. Wilson of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida, of the firm of Thomas J. Prevatt and
Charles L. Wilson, Merchants and partners, doing business under
the name and Style of T.J. Prevatt &Co, party of the first
part, and Thomas J. Prevatt of the County and State aforsaid
of the aforesaid firm Second part, Witnesseth, that for
and in consideration that the said party of the second part
has this day assumed the debts and liabilities of the said firm
T.J. Prevatt &Co. and guarantee and promise to pay
the said debts and liabilities of the said firm, and for one dollar
to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part
