This Indenture made this seventh day of March
eighteen hundred and fifty six between Robert Campbell
of Alachua County and the State of Florida of one part
and Jesse T. Bernard of the same County and State of
the other part. Whereas the said Robert Campbell is desirous
to make provisions for his wife Rafaller Campbell against
future contingences and for her maintenance and support
and whereas the said Robert Campbell is desirous that his
said wife should enjoy the proceeds rents issues and
income of the real estate herein after more particularly
described during the term of her natural life free from the
control liabilities or interference of myself or of any
husband she may hereafter have in the event of my death
and her marrying again.
Now therefore This Indenture witnesseth that the said
Robert Campbell in consideration of the premises
and of the sum of one dollar lawful money of the United
States to him in hand paid by the said party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed
and confirmed and by these presents doth bargain sell
alien remise release convey and confirm unto the
said party of the second part all that certain lot
piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the
Town of Newnansville County and State aforesaid to wit,
Lots number Five and six (5&6) of Block No two of Range
No One as per plat for the aforesaid Town of Newnans
ville together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions remain
der and remainders rents issues and profits thereof,
and also all the estate right title interest property
possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in
law as in equity of the said party of the first part of in
and to the above described premises and every part and
parcel thereof with the appurtenances. To have and to hold all
and singular the above mentioned and described premises
with the appurtenances unto the said Jesse T. Bernard his
successors and assigns, In Trust and to and for the
several uses intents and purposes hereinafter mentioned
namely. First In trust to rent or loan the same and
to take collect and receive the rents issues and profits
thereof and out of the same to keep the said premises in
good order and repair and all taxes and charges that
may be imposed thereon. Secondly In Trust to pay the
residue of such rents issues and incomes to my wife
Rafalla Campbell upon her sole and separate receipt
to the intent and purpose that she may enjoy possess
and have the same free from the control interference
or liabilities of myself or any husband she may hereafter
have in the event of my death and her marrying again during
the term of her natural life.
Thirdly In trust to convey the said land and premises
