Know all men by these presents that I Julia Pearson
the wife of J.B. Pearson the grantor of the
foregoing and for the conveyance of Real Estate
for and in consideration of the premises in said
deed recited and in further consideration of the
sum of one dollar to me paid by Hope H. Colson
Esq the receipt whereof before the sealing and
delivery of these presents is hereby acknowled=
ged do renounce release relinquish unto he
said Hope H. Colson Esq all my right claim or
Equity of dower in and to the premises by said
deed conveyed as fully and absolutely as I
might or could in any way do the same
witness my hand and seal this 15th day of
March in the year AD 1854

Alachua County   } subscriber a Justice of the
Peace in and for Alachua County Mrs Julia Pearson
to me well known to be the person who executed
the foregoing relinquishment of dower and
she being by me examined separate and apart
from her husband acknowledged and declar=
ed that she had executed the same freely
and voluntarily upon her part and without
any compulsion constraint apprehension
of fear of or from her said husband Witness

Alachua County   } On the this the thirteenth day
of May AD 1854 personally came and
appeared before the subscriber a Justice
of the peace in and for the County of Alachua
Cornelius Rein Esquire who being duly sworn
according to law doth depose and say
that he signed a certain deed as a
witness made by J.B. Pearson to Hope Hull
Colson said deed was dated on the the first
day of February AD 1854 deponent further
testifies that he was present and saw
J.B. Pearson sign said deed for the
purposes and for the consideration
therein mentioned  Cornelius Rein
