note made and given to the said parties of
the second part bearing even date herewith and
due nine months after date, and payable at the
office of the parties of the second part in the City
of Savannah in the State of Georgia for the
sum of Five hundred and seventy (570) dollars
in good and lawful money as aforesaid
according to the tenor of the said note, then these
presents shall become void, and the estate thereby
granted shall utterly cease and determine

Before me Lemuel Wilson Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County Eastern Circuit of
Florida personally appeared on this the 20th
day of June AD 1856 Solomon F. Halliday to
to me well known and acknowledged that he
executed the foregoing deed for the purposes
therein mentioned. Witness my hand and
official signature this 20th June 1856

This Indenture made and entered into this the
second day of May Anno Domini Eighteen hundred
and fifty six between Florida Rail Road Com-
pany of the State of Florida party of the first part, and
James T. Soutter of the City and State of New York
and John McRae of the City of Wilmington and State
of North Carolina of the second part witnesses.
 That whereas the said Company party of the
first part in the construction of the Rail Road now
being built by them may have occasion to issue
bond to an amount not exceeding fifteen hun-
dred thousand dollars, all of which bonds well bear
date on the first day of March now last past, will
be payable in the City of New York on the first
day of March Eighteen hundred and ninety one
will bear an interest of Eight per centum payable
in like manner in the City of New York semi-
annually on the first day of March and -
