comprise the site of the present town of Fernandina
contemplated
and its^extensions, and were purchased by the said
party of the first part of David L. Yulee, Joseph Finne-
gan and George W. Call, Also a certain other tract or
parcel of land in the said County containing about four
hundred acres more or less, known as Pine Island , Also
a certain other tract in the said County originally granted
by the Spanish Government to one Josiah Smith contain-
ing about five hundred and seventy acres being the same
land conveyed to the said parties of the first part by Isaac
H. Bronson. x - Also all those tracts or parcels of land
situate lying and being in the County of Levy and State
of Florida, including the site of Cedar Key, the Western
or Gulf terminus of said Florida Rail Road amounting
to six hundred and forty acres more or less and described
in the conveyance to the said Florida Rail Road Com-
pany by David L. Yulee and John Parsons, as the west
half of the South West quarter and the South West quarter
of the North West quarter of section number thirty, and
lot number one three of section thirty one, of Township
Fifteen south of Range Thirteen East. Also the south
half of the North East quarter and the North West quarter
of South East quarter of Section thirty in Township Fif-
teen south of Range Thirteen East, and the South West
quarter of South East quarter of section nineteen, the
North West quarter of the North East quarter, the East half of
North West quarter and the South East quarter of the
South East quarter of section thirty, Lot number one of
section thirty one and lots number one and two of sec-
tion thirty two all in Township Fifteen south of Range
thirteen East. Also four hundred thousand acres of
land more or less situate, lying and being within
six miles of the said Florida Rail Road and along
the route thereof granted to the said Florida Rail
Road Company by the State of Florida by an act
approved January 6th AD Eighteen hundred and fifty
five to aid in the construction of their said Rail Road
Also all other lands now owned by the said Florida
Rail Road Company or which may hereafter be gran-
ted to them along the line of their said Rail Road
either by the state of Florida or by the Government of
the United States of America
To have and to hold the above described premises
and all and singular the premises and of them and every
part thereof to the said parties of the second part
their heirs, successors and assigns as their absolute
property in fee simple forever, free and discharged
from all encumbrances of any and every notion and
description, except as to the Roadway and its depots
stations, equipment and appurtenances, and that
subject to the prior lien created by the Act of the
General Assembly of the State of Florida in favour of
the Internal Improvement Fund of said State |
