   I John Bissell a commissioner for the State and
resident in the City of New York, legally appointed by
the Governor of the State of Florida & Notary Public, to take
testimony, acknowledgements &c &c to be used or recorded in
that State, and qualified, do under my hand and official
seal, certify that on this second day of May 1856 before
me personally appeared James T. Soutter one of the signers
and sealers of the annexed instrument, and acknowledged
the same to be his free act and deed, for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned

County of Duval  } Be it remembered that on this the
tenth day of May A.D. 1856 before me Clerk of the Circuit
Court of the County aforesaid, personally came George
W. Call one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing in-
strument, and made oath in due form of law, that
he saw John McRae sign, seal and deliver the same
for the purposes therein expressed, Wherefore I have
duly recorded the same in the Public Record of Duval County
in book K page 347 to 353 In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and the seal of said Court
