This Indenture made and entered into this
ninth day of May One thousand eight hundred
and fifty six between David I. Ridaught of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida of the
first part and George L. Brown of the County
and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth:
   Whereas the said party of the first part is
justly indebted to the said party of second
part in the sum of Two thousand five hun-
dred and seventy one & 64/100 dollars, lawful money
of the United States, conditioned for the pay-
ment of Twelve hundred and Eighty five &
82/100 Dollars, with interest thereon at eight per
cent as by law of the State of Florida on or before
the first day of January next ensuing the date
hereof as appears by his certain bond or writing
obligatory bearing even date with these presents

This Indenture made the first day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and fifty six between John R. Saunders
and Nancy Saunders his wife of the State of 
Florida and County of Putnam of the first part
and John D. McKinlay of the State of Florida
and County of Duval of the second part.
 Witnesseth: That the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Five Thousand
dollars, lawful money of the United States of America
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second
part well and truly paid, at and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained
sold, aliened, remised, enfeoffed, released conveyed
& confirmed, and by these presents do grant
bargain, alien, sell, remise, enfeoff, release, con
vey and confirm with the said party of the sec-
ond part, all that certain tract or parcel of land
and premises, situate, lying and being in the County
of Alachua, in the State of Florida aforesaid, known
as section twelve, in Township Ten (10) and Range
Twenty south & East, containing Six hundred and
fifty three acres. Together with all and singular the
tenements, hereditaments, rights, members, priviledges
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in
any wise appertaining
  And the reversion and reversions
remainder and remainders, rents issues and
profits thereof, and also all the Estate right
title, interest, property, possession, claim and 
demand whatsoever of the said parties of the
