the better and more effectually vesting and confirming
the said described tract of land and premises hereby
granted, or so intended to be, in and to the said par
ty of the second part his heirs, executors adminis-
trators and assigns, forever, as by the said party of
the second part, his heirs, executors, administrators
or assigns, or his or their counsel learned in the law
shall be reasonably advised or required.
And the said parties of the first part for them-
selves, their heirs, executors and administrators the said
described and herein, and hereby granted premises and
conveyed tract of land and premises, with the appurte-
nances, with the said party of the second part, his heirs
executors, administrators and assigns, against the
said parties of the first part, their heirs, execu-
tors and administrators, and against all and every
other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claim
ing or to claim the same, by through or under the
parties of the first part or either of them, shall
and will by these presents forever warrant and defend

Be it remembered that on this 30th
day of July one thousand eight hundred and fifty six
before the undersigned a Justice of the Peace in and
for the County aforesaid personally came and ap-
peared Nancy Saunders known to me as the wife of
John R. Saunders one of the grantors in the foregoing
Indenture, and acknowledged in due form of law
separate and apart from her husband that she
signed sealed and executed said Indenture and
for the purpose, and with the intent thereby to re-
nounce and forever relinquish all her Dower and
right of Dower, in and to all and singular the tract
of land and premises in said Indenture mentioned
and described as sold and conveyed or so intended
to be and that the same was done by her freely
and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, con
straint, apprehension or fear of or from her said
