Know all men by these presents, that I Mary E. Kennard wife of
James, do hereby relinquish, and renounce, and forever quit claim unto
Wilburd Cumba, all my Dower and right of Dower, in and to the
land mentioned in the foregoing Deed of conveyance, and I further
declare that the same is my own act and deed, freely and voluntarily
made on my part.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and
seal, this 8th day of January A.D. 1855

Mary E. Kennard wife of James Kennard, and acknowledged, and declared that the above
relinquishment, and renunciation of Dower was made freely and voluntarily by her without

Husband, and I certify that said acknowledgment was made separate and apart
from her said Husband,

This Indenture made this nineteenth day of June in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four, Between
Mathew B. Hawkins of the County of Alachua and State
of Florida of the first part, and J.G. Garnett of the State of
Georgia of the second part, Witnesseth that the said Mathew
B. Hawkins for and in consideration of the sum of twelve
hundred dollars, to him in hand paid by the said J.G. Garnett,
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof, is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained,
sold, conveyed, aliened, remised, released and confirmed, and doth
by these presents grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey, remise,
release and confirm, unto the said J.G. Garnett the following
described tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida, and known and
described in the Arredondo Grant as follows, to wit, Section
thirty three (33) Township Nine (9) Range eighteen (18)
containing six hundred and forty acres more or less with
all the appurtenances, and all the claim, interest, right
title and demand of the said Mathew B. Hawkins, in and
to the premises, To have and to hold the same with the
appurtinances, unto the said J.G. Garnett his heirs and
assigns, for ever in fee simple, And the said Mathew
B. Hawkins, for himself and his heirs doth hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said J.G. Garnett
