that he the said Mathew B. Hawkins is now the owner of the said
premises, and is seized of a good indefeasible estate of inheritance
therein, and that he has full right and power to sell and convey
the same in fee simple absolute, that the same are free and clear
from all incumbrances, that the said J.G. Garnett, his heirs and
assigns, may forever hereafter have hold, occupy, possess, and enjoy
the same without suit molestation, or interruption by any
person whatsoever, lawfully claiming any rights therein, and
that the said Mathew B. Hawkins, and all persons hereafter claiming
under him will at any time hereafter, at the request and expense
of the said Mathew B. Hawkins, his heirs and assigns, make
and execute all such other, and further assurances for the more
effectual conveying of the said premises with the appurtenances
as may be reasonably required by him or them, and the said Mathew
B. Hawkins, and his heirs and assigns, shall and will warrant
and defend the said premises, with the appurtenances unto
the said J.G. Garnett, his heirs and assigns for ever

Know men by these presents that I Ann O. Hawkins the
wife of the said Mathew B. Hawkins, the granter of the fore=
=going Deed, for the conveyance of real Estate, for and in
consideration of the premises in said Deed recited and in further
consideration of the sum of one dollar, to me paid by the said
J.G. Garnett, the receipt whereof before the sealing and delivery
of these presents is hereby acknowledged, do renounce, release and
relinquish, unto the said J.G. Garnett, all my right, claim
or equity of Dower in, and to the premises by said Deed conveyed,
as fully and absolutely, as I might, or could do the same.
Witness my hand and seal in presence of
Personally appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the
Peace in and for said State and County, Ann O. Hawkins
to me well known to be the person who executed the foregoing
relinquishment of Dower, and she being by me examined separate
and apart from her husband, acknowledged, and declared that
she had executed the same freely and voluntarily upon her
part and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension
of or fear of or from her said husband
