Alachua County } Before the subscriber Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County Eastern Circuit of Florida,
personally came Stephen P. Bevill and a subscribing witness
to the foregoing Deed of conveyance who being duly sworn according
to law says that he saw Mathew B. Hawkins sign seal
and deliver the same for the purposes therein mentioned and
that he signed the same as a witness

This Indenture made the eighth day of January in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five, Between Wilbure
Cumbo alias William Barker of Alachua County and State
of Florida of the first part and Lewelling Williams of the same
County and State, of the second part, Witnesseth that the said
party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four
hundred dollars, lawful money of the United States to him in hand
paid, before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, and sold, and by these presents
doth grant and convey unto the said party of the second part, his
heirs and assigns for ever, all those certain pieces or parcels of
land lying and being in the County and State aforesaid, and
which is known and described as follows, to wit; the North west
Quarter of the South West Quarter, of Section Six (6) in Township
eight (8) South of Range eighteen (18) East, containing thirty three
and one hundredths acres, also the South west Quarter of the
North West Quarter, of Section Six (6) in Township eight (8)
South of Range Eighteen (18) East, containing thirty nine and eighty
six hundredths of acres. Together with all and singular the here=
=editaments, and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining, and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim
and demand, of the said party of the first part therein, and the
said party of the first part, doth hereby covenant, and agree with
the said party of the second part, that at the time of the delivery
hereby, the said party of the first part is the lawful owner of the
premises above granted, and seized thereof in fee simple absolute,
and that he will warrant and defend the above granted premises
in the peaceable and quiet possession of the said party of the
second part, his heirs and assigns forever,
