presents doth hereby grant, bargain, Sell, alien, remise, release,
and confirm & deliver, unto the John T. Rowland and James O.
Screven, and to the Survivor of them, and to the Executors and
Administrators of Such Survivor, all the right, title, interest, claim
and demand, whatsoever of the Lucy B. of in and to the aforesaid
Negro Slaves, and the aforesaid lot number (17) Seventeen, Wash=
=ington Ward in the City of Savannah aforesaid to have and to 
hold the same, together with Such other estate Real and
personal, to which Said Lucy B. may now in any manner
be entitled to, or possessed of with the future issue and increase
of the female Slaves, and all the improvements, buildings,
hereditaments, and appurtenances, to the real estate belonging,
or in any wise appertaining, and the rents, issues and profits
thereof, unto the Said John T. Rowland and James P. Screven,
and to the Survivor of them, and to the Executors and Administrators
of Such Survivor, In trust nevertheless, that they the Said
parties of the third part, will hold the Same the to and for the
Sole and Separate use, benefit, and behoof of the Said Lucy
B. and her heirs and assigns untill the Solemnization of the
Said intended Marriage, and from and after the Solemnization
thereof; to and for the jointt use, benefit, and behoof of
the Said Lucy B. and Samuel R.W. Furman and the Survivor
of them, not Subject to the Separate debts, contracts, or
engagements of the Said Samuel R.W. and from and after the
death of the Survivor of the Said Lucy B. and Samuel R.W.
then to Such child or children of the Said Lucy B. as may be
living at the time of her death Share and Share alike, if
more than one, to their heirs, Executors, Administrators,
and assigns for ever, and if the Said Lucy B. Should die in
the life time of the Said Samuel R.W. without leaving children
living at the time of her death, then in trust for Such person
or persons, and, in Such manner as She the Said Lucy B.
may direct by instrument, in the nature of last Will and
Testament Signed in the presence of three or more witnesses, And
if the Said Lucy B. Should die in the liftime of the Said Samuel
R.W. without leaving children living at the time of her death,
and without making any disposition of her property by an
executed as aforesaid, then in trust to hold the same after the
death of the Said Samuel R.W. to the Sole and Separate
use and behoof Henrietta Mary Williams, the Sister of the
Said Lucy B. her heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns
for ever, but if the Said Lucy B. Should Survive the Said
Samuel, and there Should be no children issue of Said Marriage
living at the death of the Said Samuel, or born within the
legal time afterward, then in trust that they the Said parties
of the third part, will reserving the Said property real and personal
with all increase and addition that may hereafter take place, to
the Said Lucy B. her heirs, Executors, Administrators and
assigns, free from any trust, and is eventually covenanted and
agreed by and between the parties to these presents, that it

part, and the Survivor of them, upon the written request of
the Said Lucy B. Signed before Witnesses, to grant bargain
