This Indenture made this the Eleventh day of April
AD One thousand Eight hundred and fifty Seven
between John H. Malphurs and Elizabeth Malph-
hers his wife parties of the first part, of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida and Moses Turner
of the Same Place party of the Second part.
Witnesseth That the party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of one Thous
and Dollars to them in hand paid at and before
the ensealing and delivery of these pesents the receip\
t whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bar
gained Sold, aliened conveyed and confirmed and by
these pesents, do grant bargain sell alien con-
vey and confirm unto the party of the Second par
t his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns
all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being Situate in the County of Alachua and Sta
te of Florida and Known as the north East quarter
of Section twenty Six township nine Range nine
teen together with all and singular the rights
privilegs hereditaments, and appertanances unto
the same in any wise appertaining or belonging
To have and to hold the Said tract or parcel of land
above mentioned and described and above granted
and Sold with the appertainances to the party of
the Second part, his heirs and assigns forever and
to their proper use benefit and behoof forever
and the Said parties of the first part, for them
selves, and their heirs the Said premises in the quiet
and peaceful possession of the Said party of the Sec-
ond part his heirs and assigns against the Said par
ty of the first part, and their heirs and assigns
and against all and every person whomsoever
lawfully claiming or to claim the same Shall
and will warrant and by these pesents forever
warrant and defend In Witness whereof the Said
parties of the first part, have hereunto set their
hands and Seals, the day and year first above written
