Before me personally came John H. Maulphes
and Elizabeth Maulphes his wife parties of the
first part, to the foregoing deed who severally ac
knowledged, that they executed the Same for the pur
poses therein mentioned, And the Said Elizabeth
Malphers being examined by me Separately and
apart from her Said husband did further ac
knowledge that She executed the Same freely
and Voluntarily and without any fear, or
apprehension from her said husband, for the
purposes of relinquishing all her dower or rig
ht of dower of in or to the Same In Witness
whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal

Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that I Andrew
Robb Judge of Probate in and for Said State and County for and in
consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars lawful money
of the United States of America paid by Dr G.P. Thomas to Jas
B. Bailey Treasurer of said County the receipt whereof is hereby acknow
ledged have bargained sold released conveyed and confirmed unto Dr G.
P. Thomas his heirs and assigns the following lot of land in the town
of Gainesville namely - Block No (2), Range (8) and I the said
Andrew Robb by virtue of the power vested in me as Judge of Probate
for Myself as such Judge and for my successors in office do and
will by these presents forever warrant and defend the premises aforesaid
to the said Dr G.P. Thomas and his heirs and assigns
