the within named, having been privately and seperately examined by me,
She did declare that she did freely voluntarily and without any compulsion
dread or fear of any person or persons whatsoever do release and forever
relinquish unto the within named Robt E. Johnston his heirs and assigns
all her interest and estate, and also all her right claim of dower to
all and singular the premises within mentioned

                 This indenture made on the fifteenth day of March in
the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty six between John McKinstry
John Lewis & Mathew B. Hawkins Trustees for the parsonage property of the
Methodist Episcopal Church Situate in Micanopy County & State aforesaid
of the first part & R.E. Johnston of the second part witnesseth, That
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & Fifty Dollars
to them in hand paid at & before the sealing & delivery hereof
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the
first part have bargained sold given granted & conveyed & by these presents do
so bargain sell give grant and convey unto the said party of the second
part the following described parcel of land or town lot situate in the
village of Micanopy commencing at the South East corner of the Town
lot now owned by Messr Cooper & Mathers on the Ocala Street & running
thence due North One hundred & two feet, thence due east Three hundred
& fifty two 1/3 feet to the point of beginning & containing one Acre more
or less: To have & to hold the afore granted & described premises, together
with all and singular the improvements houses buildings & appertinences
to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, In Testimony
whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their
hands and affixed their seals on the day and year first above written
