consideration of the sum of Three hundred and Seventy two
dollars and fifty cents to him in hand paid, at and before the
sealing and delivery hereof, the reciept whereof is hereby acknow
ledged, the said party of the first part hath bargained, Sold,
given, granted and conveyed and these presents doth so bargain
Sell, give, grant, and convey unto the said party of the second
part, all that certain parcel or lot of Land Situate in the Village of
Micanopy, State and County aforesaid and Known and des-
-cribed as follows, That is to say -- Beginning Six feet from the
South East Corner, known as Masonic Lodge, running South
fronting on the public Square twenty feet, Thence west One hun
dred feet to the Lot on which Jno H. Cosby resides Thence
twenty feet north, Thence one hundred feet to the point of
begining, being the Lot on which the building Stands occupied
as a Medical Office, by Payne & Polhill,  To have and to
hold the afore granted premises together with all and sin-
-gular the appurtenances thereunto attaching, and all the Estate
title and interest of the party of the first part, Therein, or to the
same, in any wise appertaining or belonging unto the said
party of the second his heirs and assigns in fee Simple forever.
And the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant and
agree, with the said party of the second part, that at the time of
the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the said party of the first
part is the law owner of the afore granted, that he is seized there-
of in fee Simple absolute. And that he will, and his heirs, Executors
and Administrators Shall warrant and defend the afore granted pre
mises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the party of the second
part his heirs and Assigns forever.  In Witness Whereof the said
party of the first hath hereunto Set his hand and affixed
his Seal the day and year above written

Know all men by these presents That I Catharine
G. Payne wife of Geo B. Payne the grantor within named in
consideration of the Sum of One dollar to me in hand paid
by Jno G. Polhill the grantee within named do hereby re-
linquish and renounce to the said Jno G. Polhill his
heirs and assigns forever, all claim right and Equity of dow-
er od in and to the within described premises and hereby
acknowledge that such relinquishment and renunciation of
dower is made freely and voluntarily, without any com-
pulsion, or constraint of or from my Said husband.
In Witness whereof I, have hereunto Set my hand and
Seal this the twenty Eight day of October A.D. 1856
