the profits of the labour of the above named negroes, Sam
and Nancy for fifteen years, her the said Mary A. Richman
to pay one half of the expense that may occur from sick-
ness or anything happening to the said negroes Sam
and Nancy.   I do further appoint my worthy
friend Andrew Bates Trustee to the above deed

Alachua County    } This Indenture, made this ninth
                  } day of April, In the year of our Lord One
thousand Eight hundred and fifty Seven, Between, Noble
A. Strobhar of the County and State afore named of the one
part, and James S. Cooper of the same State and County of
Nassau of the other part, Witnesseth, That the Noble A.
Strobhar party of the first part for and in consideration of
the Sum of Four Thousand dollars to him in hand well
and truly paid by the said James S. Cooper as afore-
said party of the second part, hath granted, bargained,
Sold, aliened, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these pre
sents doth, grant, Sell, bargain, convey, alien, and confirm
unto the said party of the second part, all that tract or
parcel of Land, containing Six hundred acres, lying and
being in Alachua County, State aforesaid and
Known by the U. States Survey as north East Quarter
of Section (12) twelve, The East half of North west Quar-
ter of Section (12) twelve, and South west Quarter of North
west Quarter of Section (12) twelve, also South East Quar-
ter of Section (11) Eleven, all in Township No (7) Seven
South of Range No (18) Eighteen East, To have and
to hold unto the party of the second part as aforesaid
