And the Said party of the first part, binds himself and his
heirs to warrant and defend the above bargained and granted
premises, with the Said party of the Second part his heirs
and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.

County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered
into this twelfth day of January in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty five, Between William
Adkins party of the first part, and Otis J. Chafee,
Mitchell W. St Amand Thomas H. Croft of Charleston
State of South Carolina, parties of the Second part
Witnesseth, that whereas the parties of the first part,
wish to purchase Sundry goods wares and merchandize of
the parties of the Second part, the Said party of the first part,
hath this day bargained and Sold, and doth bargain and Sell
hereby all right and title which he the Said party of the first
part, has or have at the time of Signing and Sealing this
Indenture, into, or out of the all that certain tract or parcel
of land known and described as follows, to wit: North
West quarter of Section twelve, Township eleven, South of
Range twenty East, and containing one hundred and fifty
