Alachua County   } This Indenture made this the 16th day of
Novr, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty three (1853. Between James F. Secrest of the
County and State aforesaid, of the first part and Wm
M. Adkins of the County and State aforesaid of the second
part, Witnesseth that said James F. Secrest for & in consid
=eration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him in
hand paid by the said Wm M. Adkins, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, conveyed
and aliened delivered unto the said Wm M. Adkins forever
all that lot or parcel of land known as the James M. Kingsley
tract, being the tract included in permit number four
hundred and thirteen (413) lying and being in the County and
State aforesaid known as the north west quarter of
section twelve, in Township eleven, Range twenty two (22)
East To have and to hold with together with all the
rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging, to his heirs
and assigns for ever, and I James F. Secrest of the first
part, doth for ever bind myself, my heirs, executors
administrators and assigns and for ever warrant and
defend the right and title of the same against the claims
of all persons whatsoever, in fee simple.
I have caused my hand and seal to be affixed the day and
year above written,
