This Indenture made this 10th day of December A.D. eighteen
hundred and fifty four, Between George R. Fairbanks of the city of
St. Augustine, and County of St. Johns, of the first part, and
Samuel R. Pyles of Alachua County Florida, party of the
Second part, Witnesseth, that the Said party of the Second part
in Consideration of the sum of one hundred d dollars to him
duly paid, the receipt whereof, is hereby acknowledged, hath granted
and conveyed, and by these presents doth grant and convey, unto
the said party of the Second part, his heirs and assigns for ever,
all that part of the west half of the North East Quarter
of Sec. 28, T.7. S. Range 18, East, and also the S. East Quarter of the S.W.
Quarter of Sec. 21, T. 7, R. 18, of District of lands Subject to Sale
at Newnansville Florida, which lies within the Survey of the
private claim of George Atkinson in Alachua County aforesaid, with
the appurtenances, and the estate, title and interest of the said party
of the first part therein, And the said party of the Second part,
that at the time of the delivery hereof, to the said party of the
Second part, the said party of the first part is the lawful owner
of the premises above granted and Seized thereof in fee simple,
Absolute, and that he will warrant and defend the same to-
the said party of the Second part, against all persons claiming
or to claim, by, through or under him, the said party of the first
his heirs and assigns for ever In Witness whereof, the said
party of the first part hath Signed and Sealed the Same, the day
and year first above written
