Alachua County   } Whereas the act of Congress passed
on the 12th day January 1825, intitled an act authorizing
repayment for land erroneously sold by the United States, provides
that, when ever the Sale of a tract of land, made by the United
States for want of title thereto, in the United States or from any
cause whatever, the money paid on the sum Shall be refunded
by the Secretary of the Treasury, and whereas a part of the within
described eighth of Section of Land is included in the U.S. Survey of
the private claim of Geo Atkinson. Now Know Ye that for and
in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in
hand paid, by the Secretary of the Treasury, I the within
named Bennett M. Dell, hereby assign, transfer, relinquish and
Surrender to the United States, all my right, title, interest
and claim, of, in, and to the land, described, to wit: the
East half of the South east Quarter, of Section No 35,
T.8. S. Range 18, East and mentioned in the within patent
Given under my hand and seal this 27th day of October

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that
I John Mizell of the State and County aforesaid, have
this day bargained unto Joshua Mizell of the County and
State aforesaid, for the Sum of four thousand dollars, to
me in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
certain property viz, one Negro girl named Rebecca, one
Negro boy named Emanuel, two horses, and my interest in a
certain tract of land won in Suit against Paul McCormack,
Situated on Orange Lake, in Marion County Florida, and
I do hereby warrant and defend the right and property of
and title of Said property, unto the Said Joshua Mizell,
and his his legal representatives, against all and person or
persons lawfully Claiming the Same.
    In Witness whereof I hereunto Set my hand and
affix my Seal, this the 15th day of March 1855.
