Alachua County   }  To Wit:
     Know all men by these presents, That we, Saml W. Burnett
John B. Standley, and Philip Dell are held and firmly bound
unto James E. Broom, Governor of the State of Florida, or
his Successors in office, in the full Sum of five hundred
dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made,
we do hereby bind our Selves, our heirs, Executors and Administrators
Jointly and Severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our
Seals, and dated this twenty fourth day of March A.D. 1855.
  The condition of the above obligation is Such, That Whereas,
the above bound Saml W. Burnett, was on the 12th day
of January A.D. 1855, duly appointed Auctioneer for the County
of Alachua in Said State. Now, if the Said Saml W. Burnett,
Shall well and truly perform all the duties of Said office, as
prescribed by law, then this obligation to be void, else to remain
in full force and virtue,

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I Franklin Desha of the County of Alachua and
State aforesaid, in consideration of fifteen hundred dollars
to me in hand paid by B.T. Beckham of the County
and State aforesaid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
do hereby give, grant, bargain, Sell, and convey unto the
Said B.T. Beckham, his heirs and assigns, a certain
tract or parcel of land, with the buildings thereon, and
all the priviliges and appurtenances to the same belonging
Situated in said County, and bound and described as
follows, Lot No one, of the North East Quarter of Sec No
28, in Township 8, South of Range 22 East, twenty Six acres,
and lot No three, section twenty one, Township eight,
South of Range 20 East, containing eighty acres,
To have and to hold the above granted premises,
to the Said B.T. Beckham, his heirs and assigns,
to his and their use, and behoof forever, And I the
Said Franklin Desha, for my self my heirs, Execu=
=tors and Administrators, do covenant with the Said
B.T. Beckham, his heirs and assigns, that I am
lawfully Seized in fee Simple, of the fore granted
premises, that they are free from all encumbrances
