    James A. Simonton To J.J. Barr:
                    Deed
This Indenture made and entered into this Decbr 31st
1881 Between James A. Simonton and wife Sarah A.
Simonton who Joins in this Indenture for the purpose
of relinquishing all her right of Dower in and
to the premises hereinafter mentioned of the first
part and John J. Barr of the second: the parties
of the first part being of the County of Marion &
State of Florida: the second part of Alachua
County State of Florida Witnesseth that the parties
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Twenty five Hundred Dollars to them in hand
paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained and sold and do hereby grant
bargain sell and convey unto the party of the second
part all that tract or parcel of land lying in
Marion County Florida described as follows Com
-mencing in section Two of Township Twelve of Range
Twenty at the points on Otter Creek where the line of
land previously deeded to Geo J. Arnow crosses said
Creek Commencing at Magnolia tree on this line on
Bank of said Creek running North sixty four and half degrees
west twenty five chains to a stake in field thence North
Eighty degrees west fourteen chains and Twenty seven links
to a stake on Western boundary line of said section
thence west, thence west three chains and forty four links to
a stake in section three of Township Twelve & Rang Twenty
thence south parralell with section line thirty nine chains
to southern section line thence East along section
line three chains and forty four links to the South west
Corner of section Two of Township and Range aforesaid
thence down section line to line of Geo J. Arnows land
following said line to point of beginning and containing
ninety acres of land more or less: To Have and To Hold
the above described and conveyed premises to the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
in fee simple forever Togather with all improvements
or appurtenances to the same belonging or in
anywise appertaining and the said parties of the first
part covenants and agrees with the party of the 
second his heirs and assigns that they are seized in
fee of the premises aforesaid that they are free
