             "Deed"
  Know all men by these presents that I William A.
Turner of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Thousand
Dollars (8000$) in Confederate Treasury Notes to me in
hand paid by Charity Snowden of the County of Alachua
and State aforesaid, the receipt whereof is hereby ack-
nowledged, have bargained and sold and do by these
presents give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
Charity Snowden his heirs and assigns all that certain
parcel of land, situate lying and being, in the County
of Alachua and the State aforesaid, with the excep
-tion of Eighty four acres, heretofore conveyed to Mrs
Nancy Ennes, as will more fully appear by reference
to Deed from the said Turner the said Nancy Ennes
under date of                   and known and des
cribed as Section Number Seven (7) in Township num-
-ber nine (9) South of Range number Twenty one (21) East
and containing Six Hundred and Twenty Three 36/100
acres. Together with all the rights privileges and appur
tenancies, thereto in anywise or any manner appertain
-ing, and belonging, To have and to hold the same to the
said Charity Snowden his heirs and assigns forever.
And I the said William A. Turner both for myself any
eirs executors and administrators, do covenant and agree
to and with the said Charity Snowden his heirs and 
assigns, that I am lawfully seized in fee of the afore
granted premises, that they are free from all incumb
-rances, that I have good right to sell and convey the
same to the said Charity Snowden as aforesaid, and
that I will and they shall warrant and defend the
same to the said Charity Snowden his heirs and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of all per-
sons In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
