said Lot one being Eleven Hundred and Eighty seven
(1187) feet from East to West, and Eight Hundred
(800) feet from North to South, containing by esti
mation 21 acres of land more or less, Together
with all and singular the hereditaments, tenements and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertain
-ing, To have and to hold the same unto him the said Sam-
-uel E. Phillips and to his heirs executors and assigns in
         and
fee simple^absolute, And we the said M.A. Crawford and
J.R. Crawford her husband do hereby covenant and agree
to and with the said Samuel E. Phillips that we are
lawfully seized in fee of the property therein and hereby
conveyed and that we have good and lawful right to sell
and convey the same that the same is free from all incum
-berances of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our
heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever
warrant and defend the same unto him the said Samuel
E. Phillips and to his heirs executors administrators and
assigns against the lawful claim and demands of any 
and all persons whomsoever now claiming or to claim the
same, In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands
and affixed our seals this 6th day of February AD 1882

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 6th day
of February AD 1882 before me personally appeared Mrs
M.A. Crawford wife of J.R. Crawford the grantor in the
foregoing conveyance who first being duly questioned and
examined by me separate and apart from her said Hus-
-band says and acknowledges before me that she did sign
the said Deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing
relinquishing and renouncing all of her title and interest
in and to the land in said Deed described and that said
relinquishment and renunciation of title was done and
made by her freely and voluntarily and without any com-
pulsion, constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her said Husband and that said land was her separate estate
and property In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
