This Indenture made and entered this 30th day of Dec
-ember AD 1881 between James D. Matheson in his own right
and James D. Matheson as trustee Elise W. Haile, Elise W.
Haile in her own right and Charles E. Haile her husband
who joins in this Deed for the purpose of ratifying and Con-
firming the act of his said wife, and Augusta S. Mathe
-son who joins in this deed for the purpose of relinquishing
and releasing all her right of Dower in and to the property
hereinafter described and conveyed of the first part, and
Emma Martin Wife of Daniel C. Martin of the second part
all of the State and County aforesaid, Witnesseth, That the
said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of
the sum of Four Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by
the said party of the second part, at, and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and Conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said party of the second part, all that lot tract peice or
parcel of land lying and being situate in the State and
County aforesaid, and particularly described and designated
as the West half (1/2) of the North half (1/2) of Lot number Nine
