  S.B. Adkins To J.J. Hardenbergh
                    "Deed"
 Know all men by these presents, That I Silas B. Adkins
of the State of Florida and County of Alachua for and
in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred and Forty
Dollars to me in hand paid at and before the ensealing
and delivery hereof by John J. Hardenbergh of the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged and confessed have granted
bargained sold released assigned conveyed and con-
-firmed and by these presents do grant bargain release
and confirm unto the said John J. Hardenbergh and to
his heirs and assigns all that tract of land described 
as follows, to wit: Lot number one of Section Thirty one
Township Ten South of Range Twenty two East lying and 
being in said State and county and containing Fifty
Three acres and 83/100 according to the United States survey
being the land conveyed to said Adkins by US patent
No 1723 and dated the first day of May AD 1855
Together with all and singular all the rights members
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in anywise appertaining, To have and hold the said
granted and conveyed premises to him the said Harden-
-bergh his heirs and assigns forever, And I the said
Adkins do hereby covenant with said Herdenbergh for
myself and heirs executors administrators and assigns
to warrant and defend said above granted and described
premises against the claims of all persons claiming or
to claim the same by from or under me, In Witness
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand an seal this twen
