"Deed"

Alachua County } Know all men by these presents, That
we C.E. Whiting and Lenora Whiting his wife and Theodore
P. Ransom of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars to them
in hand paid by Rebecca B. Ryan of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida the receipt whereof is hereby acknowled-
-ged, have granted bargained and sold and do by these prese-
-nts grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Rebecca
B. Ryan and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns
forever, the following described Lot or parcel of land situate
lying and being in T8s, R22E, in the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida, to wit: Commencing at a Stake standing
in the center of the avenue or public Road leding from Gen-
-eral Earle's house in a Westerly direction to the Waldo Road
where the half mile line crosses the said avenue dividing
the SE1/4 and the SW1/4 quarter of Section Thirty Two T8 S R22 E
Thence running Westerly along the center of the said avenue
Twenty Rods to a Stake, Thence due North Forty Rods to a Stake,
Thence due East Twenty Rods to a Stake, standing on the
half mile line, Thence due South along said line Forty Rods
to the place of beginning, containing in all Five acres being
the East fourth of a Twenty acre tract, Deeded from Michael
Knight, to C.E. Whiting and Theodore P. Ransom which Deed
bears date the 5th day of April AD 1879. The land being a
part of a tract of land deeded from Mary L. Earle and
Elias Earle to Michael Knight by Deed bearing date the 31st
day of May AD 1877. To have and to hold the above granted
bargained and described premises together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
