"Deed"
Know all men by these presents, That we Isaac Saunders and
Ann E.A. Saunders his wife of the Town of Scituate County of
Providence and State of Rhode Island, for and in consideration
of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to us paid by Alexina J.
Elmore of the County of Alachua and State of Florida the
receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do hereby grant bar-
-gain sell and convey unto the said Alexina J. Elmore her heirs
and assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land, situate
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and is described and bounded as follows, Commencing
at the North West corner of the Clinch Grant and running along
the Northern boundary of said Grant (62) Sixty two chains and
(72) Seventy two links to a Stake, Thence at an angle of 90° Ninety
Degrees in a Southerly direction six chains and (40) Forty links
Thence at an angle of 90° Ninety Degrees in a Westerly direction
(62) Sixty two chains and (72) links to the Western line of said
Grant, And thence North along the West line of said Grant
to a point of beginning, Forming a parallelogram when Nor
-th line is equal to the South line, and when east line is equal to
the West line, containing Forty acres lying and being in Ala
-chua County Florida, and is the same land that Mary C. Bearse
purchased from Josiah T. Walls and Wife by Deed dated 15th
