    Frank and Adaline Whitaker To Theodore A. Carroll
                 "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we
Alachua County   } Frank Whitaker and Adaline Whitaker of the
aforesaid County and State for and in consideration of the 
sum of Sixty dollars to us in hand paid by Theodore A. Carroll
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt
whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and 
convey unto him the said Theodore A. Carroll all of that
certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
particularly known and described as follows to wit: One acre in
the South East Corner of the North East quarter of Section Thirty
(30) Township Nine (9) South, Range Twenty (20) East containing by
estimation 1 (one) acre of land more or less. Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to
the same belonging or in anywise appertaining. To Have and Hold
the same unto him the said Theodore A. Carroll and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple and
absolute and we the said Frank Whitaker and Adeline Whitaker
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Theodore
A. Carroll that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property
herein and hereby conveyed; and that we have good and lawful
right to sell and convey the same. That the same is free from
all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that we will and
our heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever
warrant and defend the same unto him the said Theodore A.
Carroll and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of any and all
persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed
our seals on this Fourteenth day of February AD 1882

February AD 1882 before me personally appeared Mrs Adaline Whitaker
wife of Frank Whitaker the grantor in the foregoing conveyance
who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate
and apart from her said husband says and acknowledges before
